-was a special day for was also was the farewell to Lusitanos Oxford Goal Keeper Roni Dias who will back to Brazil but was also is Birthday.
-Lusitanos Oxford start well and Creative Midfield Joao Almeida open the score before the end of the first half the Brazilian Striker Marcelo Guilherme(who else)made 0-2 for Lusitanos. a good response from the team after a bad season and the yesterday team was made of all available players who give a good response.
-Woodstock also have their change and in second half the Woodstock reaction was a strong one and they press    the Lusitanos team and at 55 minutes they score from the penalty spot a well deserve goal from a quality team that play very well.till the end of the match Lusitanos Oxford play in counter attact and have some occasions to score as well Woodstock with Goal keeper Roni Dias in good form keep the Lusitanos net save.in the end was a good Football match between to team who enjoy play football.
referee Chris Penn 100% spot on and in the end we have good moments at the Bar of the nice club that Old Woodstock is where in a nice and kid gesture they offer some nice food to the Lusitanos Oxford Team

- there is not much  to say about the game against Summertown AFC at Cutteslowe park.
-Lusitanos Oxford turn up with the only 11 players available,some of them with the opportunity to play more minutes than in other previous occasions .Lusitanos Oxford start well  and score by the striker Marcelo Guilherme the team top scorer.Lusitanos manage to control the most of the first half and had other  great opportunity  to level to 0-2 when Danny Gouveia turn up from the left side on the box of Summertown without any opposition but decide to try to pass the ball when suppose tho shoot.and when you not score you will suffer ,so on the last seconds of the first half Summertown equalize with Lusitanos Oxford Ramon Miranda Own Goal.second half Summertown was the better team on the pitch and deserve to win against a Lusitanos Oxford team that keep breaking down on the second half.also Emilio Domingues saw a red card and Marcelo Guilherme score other goal that the line men decide that was off side(Wrong decision from  my Point of view but that is irrelevant to the final score do not make any difference any away)Summertown AFC deserve to won the match and Lusitanos Oxford team are already planning the next season and will go to the last game with intention to do their best and give more minutes to players who during the season haven't played many  times.is their opportunity .

Eynsham Res 4 x Lusitanos Oxford 1:match report

-there is not much to say when the Lusitanos Oxford players head and attitude is already a end of the season one...well we must to say that on the other hand we saw a great attitude from  Eynsham team who had played .from the minute 25 with 10..to cofident?lack of motivation?well  there is no reasons or excuses for saturday poor display

-Lusitanos start well and had 2 great occasions to score when first Willian Flausino and later  Marcelo Guilherme turn up alone in front of the Eynsham goal keeper fail to score.later at minute 25 Eynsham  commit a fault near to the box when Marcelo was on position to score.Eysham with only 10 players saw Jordi Munoz send the ball to the post from the free kick spot.then a awful second half from Lusitanos Oxford that again seems to break on the second half.Eysham  took their changes and play very well and deserve to win.still 2 matches to end a catastrophic season for the Lusitanos Oxford who have great talent players in their squad but where sometimes there was a lack commitment   also a plague of injury's and work commitments did not help a team that for the same  stop training during this season

with two games to go we have to games where for a question of dignity and honor we will try to win but also to give the opportunity to some players with less minutes to see if they can fit in the next season team

Garsington 4x Lusitanos Oxford 3:Lusitanos deixam fugir vantagem de 3 golos

os Lusitanos Oxford foram derrotados este sabado em casa dos lideres Garsington apos terem estado com uma vantagem de 3-0 permitiram a reviravolta no marcador.os Lusitanos entraram melhor no jogo e  chegaram a vantagem atraves de uma grande penalidade convertida por Jordi Munoz apos falta cometida sobre Benjamin Neto.os Lusitanos continuaram a dominar e voltaram a marcar pouco tempo depois por Marcelo Guilherme um golo anulado sem aparente razao pelo fiscal de linha afecto a equipa da casa. contudo os Lusitanos marcariam por mais 2 vezes pelo inevitavel Marcelo Guilherme.durante este perioro fica na nossa opiniao uma grande penalidade por marcar sobre Willian Flausino.

-contudo aos 43minutos na marcacao de um canto o Garsington reduz para 1-3 para no minuto seguinte numa momento irrefletido do Central Ramon Miranda que reagiu a uma provocacao fisica reduzir que deu origem a uma grande penalidade que permitiu ao Garsington reduzir para 3-2. na 2 parte o Garsington entrou a pressionar e novamente na marcacao de um canto aproveitando a confusao gerada chega ao empate.pouco depois o capitao dos Lusitanos Oxford Marco Cadete e expulso apos uma falta e tambem por reagir a uma provocacao.outro tiro dado nos proprios pes algo infelizmente habitual na equuipa Lusitana que e um alvo habitual por parte das outras equipas mas que tem imensa dificuldade em lidar com as emocoes apesar de alertada imensas vezes para esse factor.pouco tempo depois ja reduzidos a 10 o Garsington chega a vantagem num cabeceamento dentro da area.neste periodo destacou-se o Guardiao Lusitano o regressado Roni Dias com defesas de elevado grau de dificuldade.um regresso em bom plano

-apesar de reduzidos a 10 os Lusitanos tiveram uma reaccao Briosa e corajosa pressionando ate ao fim o Garsington tendo inclusive algumas opurtunidades para igualar o encontro apesar do desgaste a nivel fisico e psicologico.os Lusitanos Oxford contudo podem estar orgulhosos da atitude e do esforco da equipa presente em Garsington que teve que lutar contra varias adversidades alem de uma arbritagem que nao sendo das piores foi infeliz nalguns momentos determinantes do jogo.

-Realce tambem para o facto do arbito ter aceitado apitar com um colete amarelo derivado do facto da equipa da casa jogar com um Kit quase todo preto pricipalmente nas costas onde o preto era a cor dominante,algo que nao permitido nas regras da FA.os Lusitanos Oxford foram impedidos de usar um Kit menos preto do que o actual do Garsington apesar de terem inclusive terem comprado um kit de arbito para impedir confusoes. que fique bem claro os Lusitanos Oxford nao sao contra o facto dos Kit Pretos serem usados pois achamos um completo disparate as Ligas profissionais o poderem fazer mas nao as amadoras,contudo as regras devem ser iguais para todos.somos sensiveis ao facto de o Garsington ter passado por uma fase complicada com o fim da equipa principal e a nivel estrutural com o desaparecimento de provavelmente de varios kits mas e algo que os Lusitanos esperam ver resolvido na proxima epoca e esclarecido na proxima reuniao da OSL.

-Lusitanos Oxford lost this afternoon for 4-3 at Garsington against the leaders of the OSL Division 1.
-Lusitanos Oxford start very well  and score for 3  timesin the first 40 minutes by the Brazilian Striker Marcelo Guilherme who open the score from the penalty spot and then score twice more in both occasions with the "help"of the creative Midfield Willian Flausino.
-at minute 43 Garsington score from a corner and on the next minute Garsington made  2-3 from the penalty spot after a defensive mistake and lack of concentration of the Lusitanos Oxford Central Back.
-that moment change everything for the second half,and Garsington team come into the second half with super motivated and equalise after a corner in other Lusitanos Oxford defensive mistake.things got worst for Lusitanos Oxford after defensive Midfield Marco Cadete was sent off and few minutes after Garsington made 4-3.Lusitanos had a good reaction even with 10 players but was not enough to grab a drew.at the end was a good game to watch booth teams play well.
at the end of the match Garsington team invite Lusitanos Oxford to their bar and make us feel welcome.so we would like to say Thank you to Garsington for their Hospitality
