-The North Oxford FC Media Department decide this time to interview the Reserves Team Managers James Brown(JB) and Timothy Mungai(Timmy) for both of them is a new experience! both have a past with North Oxford FC Like a players and they still play when they can.so lets know what they think about this new challenge:
:NOFC1-How do you feel as a coach?
Timmy:- I feel excited and up for the challenge. The role has its up's and down because you need to be trusted and have the ability to communicate with players, the captain as well as the other managerial staffs.
NOFC:What is your opinion about the first matches of North Oxford FC?
Timmy:- Unfortunately I did miss the first game of the season as I had just undergone major surgery a day prior to the first game of the season but JB (James Brown) pointed out that despite us drawing a fixture that we should have clearly won, the team spirit was extremely positive and the players played kill there are here to stay for the season.
NOFC:Making a comparison with the Squad from last season is this one Better?
Timmy: I think compared to last season, we now have a better squad, as we have a lot of quality players fighting for every position on the team. The communication between the first team and the reserves is extremely positive and both teams are working together in order to be competitive in every fixture through-out the season.
NOFC:you are one of the reserves coach but also a player.When are we going to see you playing again
Timmy:Despite wanting to be more involved with the team and players more, I might have my first competitive game nest season or during pre-season. The doctor said that it will be 12 months therefore i just have to be patient and not end up in this situation again as this is one of the worst feeling. I'm a good player and would like to be more involved and help the team out as i can play any position i needed to play.
NOFC:do you believe that the team can still improve?
Timmy:Yes, the team can improve and is improving game by game. We have a very competitive dynamics in the team, as we have alot of quality players that sometimes are not involved in certain fixtures as the team are usually limited to the number of players and subs you can take. otherwise we have a very huge squad full of quality players and we are still recruiting as football is a passion for all of us involved in the game.
NOFC:what message you would like to leave to the North Oxford FC supporters,Colleagues,Players and staff?
Timmy:I would everyone to enjoy have fun and respect each other and the club. We the players, supporters and the staff make the club and without each other the club would not work.

NOFC:What are the objectives of North Oxford FC(reserves) for this season?
JB:The objective of north oxford reserve team is to develop and produce players who will go on to push for first team places, which in turn will make both squads very competitive and strong. This seasons objective is to challenge for promotion and have a successful cup run.

NOFC:is it true that you suffer more outside of the pitch than inside?new challenge in your career,How do you feel about this new challenge of be a coach?
JB: Being a coach still takes a bit of getting used to, especially with the fact that a lot if the players who i am now coaching were playing in the same team as me not so long ago. Although coaching was something i planned to do a few years down the line, am definitely enjoying it, and the players are making the transition a lot easier.
NOFC:what you think about the North Oxford FC Reserves Squad?
JB:The current north oxford reserve team squad in my opinion is the best we've had in the 7 years i have been at the club. There is quality in every position and the squad is very competitive, with players knowing that they have to produce on a weekly basis in order to remain in the squad let alone the team. The standard of the football being played is the best have seen in a long while.

you have a Past like a player with North Oxford FC now you are one of the Reserves coach,do you think the North Oxford FC has changed a lot in recent years?
JB:Since joining the club, i have seen a lot of changes, the biggest change has to be with the recent change in leagues from the senior league to the north berks. This change in my opinion has brought a freshness to the club with players playing at different grounds and against different teams.
NOFC:WHAT MESSAGE DO YOU WANT TO LEAVE TO THE SUPPORTERS, FRIENDS, PLAYERS AND STAFF OF NORTH OXFORD FC?
JB:The message i would like to leave to the supporters, players, and staff of north oxford fc, is that this season is going to be a highly competitive, successful, but most importantly FUN. Come along and show your support and watch some good football.
