Alan how many years you collaborate from the player time till now with North Oxford FC?
R: my first game was in 1968 ,in 1969 I became player/secretary to save the club from folding. so 48 years !
Alan can you mention some of the North Oxford FC Most Important achievement all these years?
R:will have to check; for me the most important thing is that we have made many friends and played in a sporting /fair manner. but the Oxford FA Cup and Oxford Premier League are Important
Alan you meet from the days you play till now like a director many Players in the North Oxford squad. can you tell us in your opinion some of the most important players in the North Oxford FC History?
R:Terry Fletcher helped establish the first success as captain and tireless midfielder early 70's; David Newman with his brothers Barry and Derek in 1978 ,Dave scored 50 goals and we won the cup and premier league; Mark Whitehead in the 1980/90's captain/manager/ centre back/midfielder,we were in the top 2 most of the time.Late 90s Dave Jennings 55 goals in 1999,Toby Webster midfield and Craig Hanlon ensured another league /cup double. Richard Hinkin came as player manager and took us into Senior league raising standards and teamwork. Our reserves won the Doug Hobbs cup with Kassim Ablihadi scoring and Dominic Crowder outstanding in defense. Now we are doing well in the North Berks FL.
this season what you think about North Oxford FC teams?did you recon that is one of the best sides in the last years?
R:This season promises to our best for some time and we are playing well and improving all the time
Alan what message did you like to leave to the North Oxford FC supporters ,Friends,Managers,Directors and Players?
R:We all need to be patient ,concentrate on our teamwork,fitness and technique ,then success will follow.
