- This match did not start well for both teams as the referee who was appointed for this match was replaced by other referee from Oxford City League who never turned up.
No one even bother to communicate this issue to any of teams.
unlucky is the second time in a row that this happen to the Lusitanos Oxford team when they play at home,who seems they are very unfortunate as there are quite a few teams in Oxford City competing in OSL but seems they(Lusitanos Oxford) are the unlucky ones.just a coincidence . Kennington Athlectic Reserves understood the situation and agree to play.they are a honest decent team who play good football and have a strong passion for the game.
-the first 30 minutes the match the performance of both teams where in the same level.during this time Kennington Athletic who was playing with 3 forwards,open the score after one" lost" ball one the box after Lusitanos Oxford defence mistake that the Kennington Reserves Striker did not miss.
the the last 15 minutes of the first half was a open game with good moments.both teams play a offensive football and that result with 3 more goals with Lusitanos Oxford manage to equalize by Oscar 1-1 Kennington Athletic Res socre again before Marcelo Guilherme score 2 goal and put Lusitanos Oxford with 3-2 at half time.
-Second half Lusitanos Oxford turn up more confident and Marcelo Guilherme twice Oscar Andrade and Benjamin Neto score the other goals. the Brazilian Striker Marcelo Guilherme with 3 goals and 2 decisive pass for other two goals MVP of the match.
but was not a easy second half Kennington Athletic had good opportunities to score and never surrender and keep the Lusitanos Oxford team 100% focus on the match.
Lusitanos Oxford had a good performance and look that the team performance is getting better with the time.
